santa came

the kids opened their christmas eve jammies (which i think is bradens favorite)

and were tucked into bed

and loved their chistmas morning goodies.  well except emory.  she couldn't 

decide if this was fun or not.

christmas is just so fun with kids.  the excitement the joy the fun.  all of it! 

snuggles

i love these moments.  the ones that melt your heart 

and you realize these little people grow up 

and one day they won't want to snuggle up for a nap.

so for now enjoy it.

because its just so dang cute.

somehow disney on ice has turned into a yearly tradition

not sure how it happened-we never went as kids- but here we are yet again!

cram it in

We had to make sure and cram as much fun in-between school and all of our activities 

while nana and papa were in town

so there was cookie baking

breakfast with santa

and building christmas trains and villages

we love you nana and papa!  thanks for the visit

christmas farm

nana and papa came for a visit so we took them to our favorite 

christmas light display.  It has a fun train to take you into a christmas village

complete with a crazy goat who hangs out on a horse, santa and a bonfire.  

homework time

It doesn't matter the partner in crime…

homework must be done!

uncle tyler came into town for thanksgiving-

and there is always fun to be had when he is around.

so we drug him with us to buy our christmas tree.

troy was grateful to have a second set of hands that were actually helpful!
