family picture time

the only fun thing about getting family pictures taken.  is getting them back.

especially when it turned freezing and was 40 degrees out. ugh

turkey time

Our dear friends the mayberries had us over for thanksgiving this year

loved it!!  we joined the adams, griffes, swopes, mayberries and us.  

Somehow i only got a picture of the kids so here is is.  whoops. i'll try and do better next year

and at least get a picture of the food too.

the kindergarteners got to have a thanksgiving feast which cam thought was so much fun.

Emory and i joined her for lunch. She was so excited to get the thanksgiving food- and instead

ended up with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  kids are so funny.

and this is what break looked like.  well the times that troy was home. 

no surprise he had to work most of break.  always a bummer. 

Bradens Tae Kwan Do team participated in a Demo competition

unfortunately Troy lost our camera at it... so this is all i have...

They wore pink for breast cancer which was really special. 

Braden had so much fun and he really loved getting to be a part of a team and compete

with all of them.  he really wants to do it again, and he also wants to compete in an 

individual competition too.   

emory loves bradens master- master vincent.  he will come and get her 

and walk her around all of the kids- she just thinks it is so much fun.

hittin' up the hood

we loved trick or treating in the neighborhood this year.  

the kids had so much fun we loaded on a couple of golf carts and just went nuts.

we went with meridith and teresa and their crew- james and samantha, and jake and andrew...

and a few others :)

pumpkin carving

after carving our pumpkins we went to take pictures with the pumpkins and the kids were

cracking me up.  we ended up with these gems that just make me happy.

not so much of the pumpkins.... but  love my cute kids. 

trunk or treat

emory loved trunk or treating.  she ran from car to car and would hold out her hand waiting for her candy... amazing how quickly kids learn how to get candy.  

troy had to work on our ward trunk or treat night... so the kids were bumbed. 

but we still had a great time.

halloween party time

We have such a cute friend in the neighborhood who threw such a fun halloween party

there are a lot of things that we don't like about nc.  but i have to say our friends in our 

neighborhood are pretty amazing.

without her lady bug headband- and wings everyone thought she was a strawberry.

e loved the clubhouse.  william was adorable and spent a ton of time with emory.

when i asked Braden about it he said "no way mom!!  we are mortal enemies"

I guess this is what mortal enemies who flirt with each other look like.  

he will kill me one day for writing this.
