Nana and Papa came for a visit

We had a great week with Nana and Papa in town. Braden was tickled pink at the extra attention, and my parents were so excited he could finally communicate with them! And all of his communication is usually done by yelling it. So even with them gone, if they are really quiet they may be able to hear him yell from here!!!
We did a lot in one short week- and what would I do if they didn't come in town occasionally! They washed windows, did paint touch ups to the house, cleaned paint off my outside tile, let me clean my inside tile, hung 3, yes 3 light fixtures, and so many more favors that I can't even keep up with! Gosh I love them! And since I am feeling under the weather with strep throat this week- I have never wished for anyone to still be here so badly!!!!

These pictures are of a great trip to the zoo- loved by all except Camiron. It was a little on the windy side with Hurricane Flossie on the way, so it was a little too windy for her liking, but we still had a great time!

I never think to take pictures for church, but with my mom here she thought they were so dang cute all dressed up, that she had a little photo shoot! So they had to go on the blog.
And the one of Braden saying his prayers- my parents laughed at him during every prayer.... he would start out just like this, eyes closed arms folded- and by the time we started with Heavenly Father, the eyes would be open and he would be sneaking food into his mouth with one arm, while keeping the other so reverently folded! By the end of the trip my parents were sneaking him funny looks during prayer!! What a reverent family we are :)

We had a great time at the beach.... there really were a few beach trips of course, but the camera doesn't always make it out! Braden loved the extra attention. It is much more fun for him to have swimming buddies, climbing buddies, running buddies. He never stops. I loved the extra hands to keep up with him!

The time had come....

So every mother with long hair comes to a point when their child learns to grab... and not let go. At this point you have to decide if you should cut your hair or just wear it back every day. I decided it was time to cut. From the moment I find out I am pregnant the hair starts to grow- so last august I had my hair short... and was 4 months pregnant... from that time on in my pregnancy growing my hair is a must. As my hair gets longer, my face gets fatter...and fatter... and fatter. To try and compensate the fat face effect, I try and keep the hair long. But now that Camiron is pulling it out chunk by chunk... back to short I am! Glad to be home! :)

hawaiian friends

Braden has had a great week... although we forgot a camera- we went to the fair this last weekend. A little hot and dusty, but worth every second of it for the fun rides and petting zoo. Camiron was not to up on the fair- for her it was just a lot of dust! Maybe next year!!

A bookclub goodbye to Caddie who is headed back to the mainland. Not only am i losing a friend but her son Jaydon is Bradens age, and twins Jeron and Jordan are Camirons age... our whole family will miss them!

Playgroup at the beach... what a life!

Braden and his friend Herbie enjoying some post swimming cookies!

Camiron and her friends at playgroup.

This was as close as I could get to having Braden sit down for a picture with Camiron. What do you do...

Camiron was loving the beach, until she took a face plant trying to eat some sand... and really ate some sand- in her eyes, nose, and mouth. Poor thing!
