Santa gave me Cheetos!

We went to ride the little train ride at the mall. Braden maybe thought it was really fun by the end :) The nice conductor was willing to pose for a picture with Braden and Kale, but Braden took the "pretend I don't see him" stance and would not acknowledge that the conductor was next to him! Classic. Got to love him!

Seeing Santa at the mall. They were actually really good, although no words were exchanged between Braden and Santa :)

Here are a few pics of Braden and Camiron ready to go to the ward Christmas Party. Braden had a great time, he ran and ran and ran..... He was willing to sit with our Santa for a few minutes. But it didn't last long as you can tell. After the party when we asked what was the best part, he told us that he saw Santa and Santa gave him Cheetos. He was stoked about it. So why did we buy him presents this year?! Dang it!

uhh oohhh

It has begun... Camiron is officially walking. She only crawls to something so she can pull herself up and get in the right "angle" to walk! She turned 10 months on December 7... and took her first steps on December 9th. I have quit counting the number of steps she is up to now! I left her in her room the other night while i went to start her tub- and seconds later there she was next to me, having walked right behind me the whole way. At first it was walking in a straight line, but now she can turn corners, can occasionally keep going after many pushes from Braden, and is so happy and proud of herself.

friends forever xoxo

There are some friends that you just know you will travel through life with. Brooke and Mike Romney fall into that category in our life! We haven't been able to see them in over 3 years- but from the minute they walked through our door, it was like we saw them yesterday. We couldn't ask for better friends. We even were able to have a great night out to dinner with them without kids. This was a milestone for Troy and I who haven't had many opportunities to be kidless. It was fabulous. Brooke and Mike- thanks for the friendship, the laughs, the unsensored conversation, the maid service, taking us out to dinner, playing with our kids, and making us laugh. We love you guys and miss you already. See you in Arizona!

tis the season... to be behind on blogging!

We had a family night with just Braden and made a really great gingerbread house. He was really into it. Eveyone elses kids seem to want to eat the candy- suprise suprise- he was really intense about putting it all on the house. But unfortunatly it then rained for a week and we had horrible humidity. And the house slowly melted away... it lasted for less than a week, and now his hard work and the christmas cheer of the gingerbread house can be found at the dump :)

a fun rainy day at the aquarium and zoo with Kale

Braden has a new buddy Kale. Kale is 3 and Braden love love loves him! This was one of our many park days with Kale. It was especially windy and Camiron thought it was so fun to stand that the tube and have the wind blow through. I couldn't stop laughing at her hair!!

We actually made it into the hills for a little family hike. We had a great hike. Braden loved every second of it, especially us telling him that we were hunting for wild pigs so keep looking for them. Although we did not find a wild pig, we did find a few wild cats which seemed just as good to him!
