hawaii is warmer than alaska

We love justin, karla and jake!  We had such a fun time with these guys. They came for a few weeks and we had some great late night laughs! I can't believe how well the kiddos all got along for how long they were here... kudos to Cam and Braders for not beating little jake as i expected.  Instead they followed him around saying "Hi Jakey, hold my hand" or "hi Jakey, hugs".

Karla took pics of us while she was here... she refuses to let me see them or have them until she fixes them up for us- so they will be coming in the future.  But this is a picture I captured of Camiron pretty much sums up our family photo shoot.  This is her saying "no pictures of me today"

Hittin' the beach with their hippos floaties and the crew.

Jake love love loved these shoes.  he carried them around, chewed on them, might as well  have slept with them :)  They were his sure sign that he would get to go outside.  And after living in alaska and spending time in Utah- he loved to be outside.

Missing her already...

my little baby

how does my baby turn 2? 2 is the age where they are no longer a baby. Camiron can talk, demand and i mean demand what she wants, walk, run, and even try to understand games. my baby is gone and in her place is a hilarious little person.
Camiron you are special in so many ways. You keep us laughing with the little sayings you pick up from your brother or ones you make up yourself. There isn't a word you can't say, and you have been talking in sentences for months now. It has been pretty amazing to us.
you have been obsessed with the song jingle bells and continue to think that i would love to listen to it in the car or sing in with you (you know all the words).
You try so hard to do everything Braden can do and the two of you can fight over anything. If he touches it- you want it, if you touch it, he must have it. I have never seen two kids fight the way you do, but if one gets hurt the other is very free with their kisses to make it better or sing each other a song. When we are on the go, you two fiercely protect each other for which i am grateful.
you love your daddy. When i come in your room in the morning you usually greet me with "hi mommy, wheres daddy?" maybe one day i will be the favorite... maybe. I won't count on it.
You love animals and really love to have a big and small of every animal to compare. "look mommy a big one little one" "big elephant- little elephant" etc. you can find a big and small of everything.
camiron- thank you for keeping us laughing. For taking so many hits from your brother and still loving him. for folding your arms everytime we pray. for the hugs and kisses you love to give. for insisting you are not bleeding everytime you get hurt. for your love of bacon. for your love of bugs, animals, books, and playdough.
we love you.
Camers- you are 80% in height and 50%in weight.

Grandma Pam and Uncle Tyler

We love visits from Family! Not that friends aren't great too- but family always come to play with the kids. it is so great for me! Troy's mom and brother came and we had a great time taking Tyler around the island since it was his first trip here. The first couple of days me and the kids skipped out while Troy took them to Hanama Bay, and then I dropped them at Pearl Harbor. But after that we got to spend some great time on the beach.

Leave it to Grandma Pam to come up witht he great idea to bury the kids. :) They of course loved it

then we hit the beaches on the north shore. We checked out the 10 foot waves and played on the beach, then headed to Sharks Cove to check out the fish and do a little swimming.

I can't believe my baby is 2!! how did that happen? she actually turns 2 on the 7th of February but we had to celebrate while family was here! It was fun to have someone to celebrate with and she loved her cupcake cake. Thanks Grandma Pam for the cake and presents.
