4 months....

i had to capture a few of e at 4 months.  what a precious age.
she is my happiest baby by far.  she can't help but smile if you just look at her.
so here are a few of my favs that i caught.
(4 month stats- 25% in height weight and her head.  guess she's little but even!)

she is also my drooliest baby.  she loves to have her hands and feet in her mouth.
she doesn't care what fingers she is sucking on as long as there is at least one in there
and drool all over.

and if emory is getting a picture taken- you know camiron will jump on that bandwagon.
so here are a few of my favorites of my girls.

cast-alishious

we had to get a few with this beauty.  every person gets asked if they ever
broke a bone.... so she needs her proof.  and she of course had to dance around
for the pictures. love her

t ball torture

turns out braden found the first sport he does not like... t ball.
after the first couple practices he asked if he could quit.  this is the kid who
loves all sports.  I told him nope- he told ms crystal (his coach) that
he would be on her team and he would.
so we persevered through the season.
the treats of if you don't eat your dinner/ be nice to your sister/ stop talking back and
we won't go to practice tonight no longer worked. with other sports he would shape up
with  t ball he would say- really i don't have to go?!  funny!

here is the team

running to 2nd.   with t ball there were no outs, everyone had a chance to hit. no matter
how far you hit the ball, you were only allowed to run one base.  you had to wait for the
next batter to hit you to the next base.

e was happy to hang at the games...

but camers- it was not her thing.  she was not happy to watch a boring sport in
100 degree heat with humidity and a cast....

summer kickoff= a broken arm

Cam thought she should kick off summer break with a broken arm.  it is summer "break"
after all.... ugh.  she was a real trooper.  troy had just finished his second over night call in a row and had one more to go- she was riding her scooter down our driveway first thing in the morning and fell and broke it.  We thought it was broken by the way she was acting and as all good parents do- troy went to bed for an hour.  poor guy hadn't slept yet and knew he was going to be hanging at the er all day.   so after his cat nap she was still in tears so he took her in.  she broke the humerus bone right at the elbow.  she gets a full elbow cast for 4-6 weeks.  on the upside they didn't have to sedate her to set it, and she doesn't need any surgery.   Troy spent the day with her and finally braden, emory and i had to go trade him out because he was starting his next overnighter.   She was such a trooper- the poor thing was in so much pain. i am pretty happy that troy was able to take her.  by the time i traded him out she was getting casted and the tylenol codeine was kicking in which made for a much happier girl.  it is so hard to see your kids in pain!
*these pics are terrible- but they are from my phone it was all i had!
here she is at the hospital with her first cast

a couple days later she did go to dance, but between the first cast being huge and heavy and
the tylenol codeine- she was pretty worn out.

her second cast was a cute pink- but her arm was still so swollen that she
had it cut on both sides and they wrapped an ace wrap around it.  had i known
she would only have this one for a week i would have taken another picture of it... bummer

and we rounded it out by going purple for number 3.  this one is a keeper for now.
she goes in for her 4 week check on june 20th and will hopefully get it off.  4 weeks in a cast
is forever in 100 degree humid summer weather.  and it really puts a damper on swimming!

end of the year awards

Braden was so excited for the end of the year awards.  it was a little on the torturous side
for us because they gave every single kindergartener in 8 classes a few awards. they had them stand up to have their awards read.  lets just say it took forever!
Braden received:
Good Citizenship
Best Personality
kindergarten lynx leader
and a certificate for completion of kindergarten.
I can't believe he is going to first grade!! when did he get so grown up!

b's teacher ms robinson giving the awards and ms. mcneil to the right.

standing for his awards.  doesn't he look excited.

after we headed back to his class for an ice cream party.   so he wanted a few pics with some of his best friends.
Braden and Alex

Braden and Christopher

Braden Alison and Melanie
(braden regularly came home with these girls phone numbers in his pocket.
I'm not sure how i feel about that!)

Congrats my big kid....

3 months

poor e gets a little lost in the shuffle when it comes to pictures-
so here are a few of her at 3 months.
she really is such a smiley happy baby.  she puts up with a
lot of tuff love from camiron and usually comes up smiling.
we just love this little nuggett!

beauty

the county library that lets be honest is nowhere near our house has a great storytime
Camiron was ecstatic when she found out beauty from beauty and the beast
was going to be reading the stories.   when we left storytime she asked
if i could mapquest how to get to beauty's castle to go visit her.
what a different generation!!

our friends olivia, ethan and amyra joined us for the fun.

smile

these are just a few moments that make me smile.

spring break

we had a very busy spring break... but i seem to have a hard time taking pictures and taking
care of three kids, so strawberry picking is the only thing i managed to get some pics of.
we had a great time, it was hot- but the kids worked hard picking and eating and then
we made freezer jam with it.  yum yum yum.  well at least troy and i love it.
we also went bowling twice, to many different parks, swimming 4 times, bike riding,
got together with a few different friends. anything we could find to stay busy- we did.
