rain boots and rollerskates

funny how rollerskating never gets old.  it is a rockstar through the ages.
my kids love it.  thank goodness they are getting better and can pretty much do it
on their own.  E didn't wear skates- just her rain boots- but she and i walked the rink like a
billion times rockin to the music.  she thought she was having the best time ever.
i was terrified of her getting rolled over since she doesn't pay any attention!
happy birthday ben.

static tramp head is even worse than bed head.

easter clothes

every year i take easter clothes pictures....
and every year they are a bit rough :)
true to fashion
maybe one year i will get that gem of a shot where everyone is smiling a real smile and happy to
be there.   here is the wishing right?

easter morning

by the time easter morning came we were about candied out.  thankfully
the easter bunny must have realized this and filled a lot of the kids eggs with money.
(this led to a lot of fun when we started checking out the quarters and decided to start collecting them
in a quarter map.  so the kids spent the rest of the day digging through every quarter in the house to see which states we could find. )

another special easter bonus- troy's morning church meetings were cancelled.
it was so nice to have him around for the morning and get to have breakfast together and hang out
the kids were excited for their new easter outfits.
we were excited for a special day at church remembering what is really important.

the egg hunts

we kicked off the hunts with the anderson creek hunt.
it took emory about 2 seconds to decide she liked egg hunting!
B was at a sleepover with a friend and missed out on this one- but we had a great time.

next up with had our ward easter activity.

the kid lineup  before total chaos.

they had an easter outfit fashion show.  my girls wore last years since they get their new ones on easter

b was the proud owner of the famous "golden egg" and won this basket.
he was so excited i thought he might pee his pants.  ok not really but he
jumps around like a crazy kid when he gets excited.

last we had some of our close friends do a night hunt.
we had a little potluck first and when it got dark out they all
had to get out their flashlights and go hunting.  they loved it.
