On Monday nights we have Family Home Evening, which is basically a little church lesson, and then we play a game and have a little treat.  So this Monday Braden was not happy about the "lesson" part of it.  

Braden: I don't want a lesson.  Just a game.

Us: the lesson will be fast, it is a fun one we promise.

Braden: Fine, just hold on.

Braden- gets a cushion of the couch, drags it to the floor, lays on it.

Braden: Fine, I'm ready. Lets get this done.

I just had to document Camirons first french braid.  Ok so it isn't all of her hair-  but i got a braid in at the top- and it stayed!  

a little bit of science

My dad would be so proud of our science experiment.  Some would call it dying eggs, some would call it a disaster, we like to call it science.  I know we are a little on the late side for the "dying of the easter eggs"- but it has finally been done.  So glad everyone was in only their skivies for the fun!

Camiron is so obsessed with whatever Braden does, she has to do.  This is taking it too far though.   I know it is my own vanity that wants her to wear a top- but really!!  

So these days  no shirt for Braden = no shirt for Camiron.  Ugh!

so sad to say goodbye. no really sad.

Bradens preschool teacher is moving to the Mainland.  Theresa was going to have school until June, but now that she is moving our last day was on Wednesday.  I am so so sad.  We just loved Theresa- she was amazing  with Braden. He has learned so much from her this year, and just loved going to school.  

This was our last day "swim party" at her house.  I don't think he will have another teacher with a pool :)

Camiron was so sad to not be in the class.  All year she has wanted to stay when we bring Braden.  And she was very distraught that she wasn't invited into the class picture... so here she is posing for her own class picture.

The easter bunny has been very busy around these parts.  We have too much candy- want some anyone? 

The easter bunny came to our house on Saturday.  We celebrated Easter and Troy's birthday that day- since he had to work on Easter Sunday and his real birthday.  The kids were pretty excited to see he had showed up while they were taking their naps.

Our church had a little easter egg/ spiritual hunt and some treats to follow. 

phew and finally we finished up easter with some moms club friends for dinner and yet another easter egg hunt.  Thanks amy for having us over- we had a great time. 



I hope to not see another piece of candy until next year. 

Lets go fly a kite

With the older kids out of school for spring break- what is better than a day at the park and flying kites.  The kids had a great time, it was a beautiful day, and the moms even had a chance to chat.  Life is good
