late... but not forgotten
Rose and Ian came to visit right before Christmas... but somehow everywhere we went, I fogot my camera. So thanks to rose being a good camera friend, here are some fun pics of their visit.

mumu's and mulletts
I have never been one to be completely caught up in the fashion world. i was always a little behind, kind of casual- surfer style type. Well now that i have been living in hawaii for 3 years I am so out of fashion it is pathetic. and no offense to all of my hawaii friends... you all look great, but you can't help me in the cold weather department. And we all know that mumu's and mulletts are a plenty around here. i need some serious help- and i am not kidding- please all of you help me.
i am headed to utah in less that 2 weeks, for 2 months. What do I wear? My 2 dear friends that recently visited Brooke and Rose both suggested a good pair of "skinny jeans" (huh?) and some "baby doll" tops (know what they are talking about at least, but don't have any). So I bought a pair of skinny jeans- um what shoes do you wear with skinny jeans. I am not kidding here. as a stay at home mom in hawaii i wear shorts, t-shirts, skirts, and flip flops. the only "real" shoes i have purchased since living here are some church shoes that i bought at payless- yes i just admitted to that- and sneakers. i really don't know what shoes you wear with skinny jeans (or any other jeans for that matter)on the icy cold roads of utah while carrying a kid around. And to go with that- what you wear besides a pair of casual shorts and t- shirt.
I am truely calling out for help to all of you friends out there. send me to website, give me ideas... help me. I don't want to be a total misfit- and i can finally buy a few new items. all of my regular clothes are pre- braden, which makes it 4 winters ago that i wore anything besides maternity. christmas fun
The Nadigs took us in for a christmas eve dinner. The kids had a great time caroling to the neighbors and just getting excited for Santa. Aaron and Courtney are amazing cooks and we love to get to share their home for such a special night.
Unfortunatly once we got home, troy had to head into work for an emergency case... leaving me solo to put together the christmas presents. Mental note for next year- stock up on batteries!!! And why is it that a kids toy which only requires you to be at a 3 year old level to play with requires a genius to put it together??!
We had a great Christmas morning- that went on and on and on.....
Braden had to open every present, get it out of the box, play with it, and marvel over it before moving on the to next. He even had to try out a box of crayons he got. I promise we play with Crayons all the time!! Do we really need to try them out? We were bored long before we were done opening :) but it was a fun morning. Camiron thought it was great fun, all the new toys in the house and even got to play with a few before Braders stole them away. The kitchen and tool box were a big hit and have been loved since.
And although I forgot to take pictures, we actually hosted a christmas get together with our friends Candice and Kris with their little ones Kale and KiLynn and our neighbors Josh and Correan. We ate lots of food, had lots of laughs, and then troy had to go to work.
my friend Amy used to live on the island and moved to cold, cold, cold Alaska. She came to visit during the holidays and we had a great time catching up and meeting our new little ones!

just a good honest business deal
Somehow this man found my email and on a regular basis sends me this email. Since I feel it is just an honest business deal, I may go ahead and contact him with all of my personal information and wait for the millions to start rolling in. Can't wait. Anyone else want a share of it?
