Mrs. Fredricks classes has been working hard on writing their own books and illustrating it all on their own....

Then she threw a premier for the parents to come and enjoy their child's hard work.  Braden wrote all about our family trip to disneyworld.   He remembered the rides we  went on and what park we went to each day and drew pictures of our family at the parks.  It really was adorable.  I'm one proud mom!  

the circle of life

both braden and camiron's class hatched butterflies and let them bring them home to release them

the kids were ecstatic.  they both made me visit their classrooms so i could see the caterpillar making his

chryslsalis and hanging in their houses.  and they were on countdown to bring them home to release them.  What great teachers they had!  thank you mrs fredricks and mrs bruner for making their year!

our little friend jackson had a neighborhood party 

my kids had a great time.  it was a whole campout theme with 

canoeing and a nature hunt.  

what is better than a whole group of kids you are already friends with

having the time of their lives together.  love it

because its mothers day

because it is mothers day- i get to force each of you 

darling children to wear my outfit of choice, and force you to smile 

for a picture with me.   man its good to be a mom.

its amazing how through temper tantrums, siblings fighting, asking kids to do the 

same thing over and over... at the end of the day I love them so much there aren't words.  

i'm pretty lucky. 

life is good when you are a kid

we seem to have the most outdoor fun and became the house to be at for the summer 

(until we left for utah)

My kids love living on our back circle because they have friends all around to play with.  unfortunately for me with a 2 year old in the mix- that means i am too... but at least everyone is having a great time even if it is exhausting.

doesn't she know she should lose her 2 front teeth at christmas time... not summer?  they are going to be back in time for santa!

getting the skills

my kids have been rocking their "extras".

 I really have some amazing little athletes on my hands... but they have agreed to take a break from it all.

Cam at the grand old age of 6 has her backwalkover on the high beam,  a round off back handspring on the floor, and is working on handstands on the bars.  crazy.  but it is also crazy that in kindergarten it is taking over her life.  She goes to the gym mon, wed, frid for 3 hours each.  and the gym is 40 min away.  When they told her she will have to join a gym on summer break in utah- she said lets take a break.  i'm sad to not watch this little star out there- but it sure is nice to spend some days out of the gym!

and my little B has been cruising right along in his belts.  just before heading out for summer break 

he officially tested for his high green belt. He has amazing strength, control, and perfection.  I maybe wish that he wasn't learning to hit and kick harder.  He has decided to put his tkd on hold to take a turn at football.  So now that he can hit and kick, lets see if he can hit with his head too!
