hottest hike ever

We put our house up for sale (any takers?) which means

we are kicked out every sunday afternoon for the open houses.

our first sunday out we thought we would take a nice stroll to the lighthouse.

umm.. hottest hike ever. beautiful. but miserable hot.

we'll prepare a little better next time

swimmers

B and C love swimming- a little on the obsessive side actually.

Braders moved up a level in swim class and loves it. he is on the go in the pool and has a lot of confidence which is great.

Camers also has a lot of confidence.. which is scary. the teacher let her have a practice private session to see if she could be in the class. he doesn't take kids until they turn 3 and since she is barely 2 1/2 he didn't believe me that she could swim. well she did great in the private so he put her in a class where she cried hysterically for the next 3 weeks and refused to do anything- but choke on water and cry. So out of class she is. maybe next year.

but in the meantime- here she is swimming- what she taught herself. :)

big balloons make a perfect picture

The kiddos were so jealous over mason's picture shoot with the balloons

they wanted their own. had i known they were going to be so cute

about it- i might have put something cute on them. But they are still

pretty darling at the end of a hot hot hot sweaty day!

North Shore Sunset

We hit the North Shore a few weeks back with the kiddos

Change of beach is almost like a roadtrip. 

Sort of.

 The sunset did amazing things to the sand turning it an amazing orange color.

The kids loved playing badmitton on the beach.

 And what is the north shore without a few wild chickens.

Wild chickens are like wild cats. they are everywhere.  

weird isn't it? 

The kids loved chasing those poor innocent chicks.

 And where camiron goes.... there will be singing.

Why not use a bucket for a stage.  

the girl can sing about anything.

One of our favorite sunday family activities is looking for crabs at the beach

so i have started to bring my new camera along.

i love it. 

poor troy has to babysit.
