Hawaiians love fireworks. I mean spend thousands of dollars on fireworks love them
This is the first new years that we actually made it until midnight to see the fireworks go off.
(and on a sidenote- the night before i was watching the news and had to laugh when they reminded the public that ariel fireworks are illegal- i feel the locals really took that to heart).
We kicked off the night watching fireworks at the waterpark.
Then headed to our dear friends the Ohki's for some food and fun.
The kids played- the girls chatted- and the boys set off fireworks.
The girls chatted
(really the whole island looks like this with smoke on new years- they start setting fireworks off around 3, and it doesn't let up until after 1am)

Looks like all kinds of crazy fun.
That sure looks like a lot of fun. You guys sure have a WAY different look out your window on Christmas! (I am jealous!!) What do you think of the bachelor?
