denton christmas fun

Last year we went to denton ridge and had so much fun so we needed to

go again!  Denton Ridge has great christmas lights, hot chocolate, camp fires, 

santa, and live horses.  (which has led to a long horse obsession of "hes" which is what emory calls horses b/c they say hee)

it isn't often that i get into my kids classes- so i love when the chance comes around

it was so fun to play with the kids and to see how excited they were to work on their projects

we miss out on making candy trains with our utah cousins- but grandma pam 

didn't forget my kids.  They were sooo excited to open a box full of everything 

they could possibly need to make their candy trains.

grown up girl

so long baby teeth.  this girl is growing up.  (sniff sniff)  

there are so many fun things that come with christmas. 

we love getting a real christmas tree- it makes the house smell like christmas

and the kids think it is fun to try and keep it alive.  yea thats fun. 

only cam and troy made it to our ward christmas party this year

a round of the flu hit our house- so the rest of us had to skip it.  

it was a real bummer for braden who was hoping to see santa.  thankfully he has the 

nicest sister ever who passed on his list :)

and of course gingerbread.  this year we did gingerbread trains which i think might be more fun 

than houses.  the kids loved them.  and the sugar.... love the sugar....

ladies nights

its weird to go see a twilight movie without my ladies from hawaii

but it was still fun to have a ladies night out

I also joined my favorite ladies of the hood for a painting and wine night. 

it was high entertainment- drunk people painting- always an adventure!

build a bear birthday

our little buddy james had a build a bear birthday party  

it always is a hit with my kids.  we even had to make emory a little monkey which made her happy as can be!

hanging over turkey weekend

since troy had to work over thanksgiving weekend we had to try and keep ourselves busy...

thank goodness it was pretty nice out. 

a little sunshine always saves the day.
