there are so many fun things that come with christmas. 

we love getting a real christmas tree- it makes the house smell like christmas

and the kids think it is fun to try and keep it alive.  yea thats fun. 

only cam and troy made it to our ward christmas party this year

a round of the flu hit our house- so the rest of us had to skip it.  

it was a real bummer for braden who was hoping to see santa.  thankfully he has the 

nicest sister ever who passed on his list :)

and of course gingerbread.  this year we did gingerbread trains which i think might be more fun 

than houses.  the kids loved them.  and the sugar.... love the sugar....
