nyc #randr

I have the best husband ever- who arranged a trip for my
dearest college friend shannon and I to meet up for some
RandR in NYC.  yep he even put us up in the one and only
waldorf astoria!
Man i love him!!

our first night we checked out a few scenic places before meeting up with my high
school friend/ college roomie courtnie.
court took us to the best chinese place ever, to check out the 9-11 memorial and see the statue of liberty and night.

(this is why you don' have your server who doesn't speak english
take the picture for you- sooo blurry.  bummer)

shan and i had to hang out in times square every night... i mean it is nyc!

shan has a bit of a food obsession- so had to hit all of her must eat spots or treats
shake shack was on her must do list.

and to work off the shake shack, we rented bikes and made the 2 hour loop around central park.
it was a perfect day for it- the weather was amazing and we had a great time

we finished up the night at the worst broadway show ever...
nice work if you can get it....
great seats- super expensive- and we thought about leaving at intermission.
too bad

we decided to walk the brooklyn bridge and eat at grimaldi's.
great pizza and an amazing walk/ view.  I would say this is a must.

we finished up our night at newsies
this made up for our first show because it was amazing!
maybe one of the best broadway shows i have ever seen.  I mean really does it
get better than a whole show of singing and dancing guys?!  yep amazing.

our last day we had the most amazing brunch.  shan would kill me if she
knew i couldn't remember where we went?  but it was yummy.
i made fun of shannon every time she took pictures of her food- so here you
have it.. our breakfast of champions.

then we hit the gardens at central park.

(we may have gotten a little lost in a pretty sketchy area on our way there- but
it had some amazing views)

i was so sad to say goodbye to shan and nyc.
we had a great trip and it was fun to get back to my kiddos after!
thank you to the best husbands ever for making it happen.
