We had an amazing vacation with Brooke and Eric (and kiddos).
We are so grateful that they came to play with us. We will miss living in hawaii and
the wonderful friends we get to have here.

We kicked off the trip by heading to the north shore. Playing in the
waves, watching the surfers, digging holes. And of course getting shave ice. yum.
A hike to waimea bay falls. the kids were great troopers and hiked up to the waterfall
followed by a nice swim in the falls. Thank goodness for dads who like
swimming in a freezing lake so that i don't have to!

We relaxed and then headed to Dole Pineapple Plantation. (just for you megs)

and what is the pineapple plantation without a bite or two of their yummy icecream!
the kids were troopers and hiked up Diamond Head to check out the view.
Then we spent the afternoon at the Arizona Memorial. the kids were old enough to get the movie and spent the whole time asking who were the good guys and who were the bad guys. And even out on the memorial the kids were all sure the bad guys were coming.
And of course beach days. Here are just a few pics b/c really- this has gotten a little out of control!

very cute pictures! It looks like such a fun trip. So you say you are leaving Hawaii? Does that mean you are coming back to Utah? I would be so excited!

Do you guys know where you're going next? Well- if you don't I heard on the news that Boise was in high demand for Medical Doctors... I think you guys should move here and move into our neighborhood!!!!!!
Way too fun! I hate to say it... but I do miss driving around to all the tourist spots! At least Troy was with you!! So...have you guys heard anything? I have been dying to find out! Miss ya!
