we had our first north carolinian fourth of july... it was fun but man was it hot!
we kicked it off with a go at the fishing competition at the pond- but the kids quit pretty fast
we followed it up by riding bikes in the bike- mostly golf cart parade.
(the kids really wish we had gotten a golf cart instead of new bikes! funny- in their minds they cost the same!) then we headed to the neighborhood bbq and water slide/ bounce house party, followed up by the swimming pool. the kids had a great day and were so worn out we skipped heading into fort bragg to watch the fire works. maybe we will see some next year :)

c made me very nervous, she had just gotten her cast off and the
"no bounce house or slip n slide rules" don't apply on holidays b/c how
can you tell her she can't go on this?
even little e hit the pool. she loves it!
