twilight series....

*** if you are planning to read all three... but haven't yet- then don't read this blog entry!!*****

After finishing all three books.... I personally am in love with Jacob. Everyone seems to love Edward- so I just had to put it out there the Jacob is my favorite character. I really wanted Bella to choose him, but since finishing have decided that she doesn't deserve him- she is much too whiney and self centered. Did she start to bother anyone else? I really wish that the next book was from Jacobs perspective- but I don't think I will be so lucky.
I just had to put my opinion out there, now I want to know what everyone else thinks?

some strange trading

We have a few jealousy issues around our house. As soon as Camiron even looks at a toy Braden instantly responds with a "Bradens turn first". He is not a fan of Braden ever waiting for his turn! Since Camiron usually doesn't care, if he takes a toy from her, he has to "trade" her a toy. So he has to go find something that she would like to play with. He usually does a pretty good job.
This day I brought the doorway jumper out and put it on the tree- a little hands free rest for my back. We started out with Braden in the swing and Cam in the jumper... but she must have made the jumper look very appealing because Braden soon decided it was his turn "first" in the jumper. Yes he is 2 years old- but since it was hanging from the tree for some extra height- and he weighs less than most one year olds at a whopping 22 pounds- he fit it great. Everyone was happy with this "trade" for at least a half hour. It was the best (and weirdest) "trade" ever!!!

A Few Random Moments...

Here in Hawaii they LOVE the bounce house! Such a treat for Braden. He is die hard in them. This is at his friends birthday party. We got there a little early to get in some bouncing before the big kids came. I wish I had taken a picture with all the big kids though, Braden can hold his own in the bounce house!

How can I not just love this face! Camiron doesn't get to watch baby einstein very often because Braden always seems to take over the tv, but when she does- she can't pull herself away. This is her in the saucer seat in a dead stare at the tv. It seems like she is looking at me, but don't be fooled, the tv is right behind me and she didn't move a muscle when I got in the way!

As a reward for giving up his binkie Braden got a new toy. (yes Braden still had a binkie, it was his only source of comfort. He never had a blankie or toy he loved, just his binkies. He slept with 2, carried them with him, and refused to give them up) I sent Troy and Braden to get a special garbage truck toy at Toys R Us because Braden is obsessed with garbage trucks. Turns out this "digger" as Braden calls it was next to the garbage truck toy. So suprise suprise, Troy and Braden came home with a much larger, more expensive toy then they set out to get. Braden really scored by giving up his binks!

We went with Moms Club on a little train ride. Just seeing the train and being excited to get on was half the fun....

Braden and his friends getting ready for the ride....

Braden is very intense in this picture... there must really be something amazing to look at out there as we chug by.....

Yes there was!

Proud to be a U.S. American???

Because Troy and I have watched this so many times, and it just seems to get funnier... I thought I would share it with anyone who might not have seen it yet.

Nana and Papa came for a visit

We had a great week with Nana and Papa in town. Braden was tickled pink at the extra attention, and my parents were so excited he could finally communicate with them! And all of his communication is usually done by yelling it. So even with them gone, if they are really quiet they may be able to hear him yell from here!!!
We did a lot in one short week- and what would I do if they didn't come in town occasionally! They washed windows, did paint touch ups to the house, cleaned paint off my outside tile, let me clean my inside tile, hung 3, yes 3 light fixtures, and so many more favors that I can't even keep up with! Gosh I love them! And since I am feeling under the weather with strep throat this week- I have never wished for anyone to still be here so badly!!!!

These pictures are of a great trip to the zoo- loved by all except Camiron. It was a little on the windy side with Hurricane Flossie on the way, so it was a little too windy for her liking, but we still had a great time!

I never think to take pictures for church, but with my mom here she thought they were so dang cute all dressed up, that she had a little photo shoot! So they had to go on the blog.
And the one of Braden saying his prayers- my parents laughed at him during every prayer.... he would start out just like this, eyes closed arms folded- and by the time we started with Heavenly Father, the eyes would be open and he would be sneaking food into his mouth with one arm, while keeping the other so reverently folded! By the end of the trip my parents were sneaking him funny looks during prayer!! What a reverent family we are :)

We had a great time at the beach.... there really were a few beach trips of course, but the camera doesn't always make it out! Braden loved the extra attention. It is much more fun for him to have swimming buddies, climbing buddies, running buddies. He never stops. I loved the extra hands to keep up with him!

The time had come....

So every mother with long hair comes to a point when their child learns to grab... and not let go. At this point you have to decide if you should cut your hair or just wear it back every day. I decided it was time to cut. From the moment I find out I am pregnant the hair starts to grow- so last august I had my hair short... and was 4 months pregnant... from that time on in my pregnancy growing my hair is a must. As my hair gets longer, my face gets fatter...and fatter... and fatter. To try and compensate the fat face effect, I try and keep the hair long. But now that Camiron is pulling it out chunk by chunk... back to short I am! Glad to be home! :)

hawaiian friends

Braden has had a great week... although we forgot a camera- we went to the fair this last weekend. A little hot and dusty, but worth every second of it for the fun rides and petting zoo. Camiron was not to up on the fair- for her it was just a lot of dust! Maybe next year!!

A bookclub goodbye to Caddie who is headed back to the mainland. Not only am i losing a friend but her son Jaydon is Bradens age, and twins Jeron and Jordan are Camirons age... our whole family will miss them!

Playgroup at the beach... what a life!

Braden and his friend Herbie enjoying some post swimming cookies!

Camiron and her friends at playgroup.

This was as close as I could get to having Braden sit down for a picture with Camiron. What do you do...

Camiron was loving the beach, until she took a face plant trying to eat some sand... and really ate some sand- in her eyes, nose, and mouth. Poor thing!
